September's Checklist

1. Improve knowledge

Ever thinking of updating the skills, knowledge or information that you have? Or probably learning something which is completely new, such as a foreign language that could add your value in the business world? It's never too late. September is also a month full of interesting agenda that you can participate in; from finance seminars, annual exhibitions, to puppet carnival.

2. Top up vacation fund

Are you one of those who had overspent last month? We hope you followed LiveOlive's suggestion to limit your THR use up to 50%. Well, now is the right time to top up your vacation fund. Although it seems too early, but you should start thinking about your year-end holiday plan so that you and your family can prepare the budget --especially if you're planning to travel overseas. If you don't want to worry about the fluctuation of forex, you can buy foreign currency, little by little, until the vacation time.

3. Know your heart

World Heart Day is globally celebrated on the 29th of September since 2000, as a way to inform people about cardiovascular diseases, which are the biggest cause of death worldwide. You can check your lifestyle to find out if you are prone to this; risk factors include smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, physical inactivity and overweight. Do something before it's too late!
