Practical Tips to Complete Your Financial Resolution Next Year

1. Less is More

Many people have failed to achieve their New Year’s resolutions simply because they have a long list to begin with. What are the chances of completing three or four brand new ones if we can’t even do them before?

Take baby steps. Concentrate on completing one or two things first. You can focus all of your energy there and when you finally succeed, go ahead and challenge yourself with more resolutions.

2. Seeing is Believing

Out of sight, out of mind, remember? So, make sure you are constantly reminded of your goals by having visible reminders.

Practical ways of doing this are by writing it down on a piece of paper and placing it in a place that you pass or see every day, setting it as your phone or desktop wallpaper or by putting on an alarm for every couple of weeks so you are always being reminded.
